Driver Rules

The general rules apply to each and every driver, mechanic, and/or pit personnel. Some items, obviously, may not apply to each class – it should be easy to determine which rules do not apply to you. YOU ARE EXPECTED TO KNOW THE RULES.

The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and by participating in these events, all participants agree to comply with these rules. NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATION OF, OR COMPLIANCE WITH, THESE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator, or official.

BLACK HORSE SPEEDWAY officials shall be empowered to permit minor deviation from any of the specifications herein, or impose any further restrictions that, in their opinion, do not alter the minimum acceptable requirements. NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS. Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the officials. Their decision is final.

BLACK HORSE SPEEDWAY is private property. Any person on this property without permission of BLACK HORSE SPEEDWAY is guilty of trespass and subject to the penalties prescribed by law. However, BLACK HORSE SPEEDWAY management reserves the right to make or cancel this authority at any time that is felt your presence or conduct is not in the best interest of the sport of auto racing, your fellow competitors, the fans, management and/or the employees of the raceway.
